About the Event
Experience "of the period" hands-on demonstrations of Native American arts and crafts such as pottery, weaving, and canoe carving. Living historians and story tellers will exhibit 18th and 19th century Creek hunting camps and tell fascinating stories about Native Americans and the French who made port on Dauphin Island in 1699. The festival will be a fun and educational experience for the entire family! Food and traditional arts and crafts will be available for purchase.
