About the Event
This year, 2022, the 48th Annual Grand Bay Watermelon Festival will be held on July 3rd from 3 pm to 7 pm only, and on July 4th from 10 am to 6 pm. On the 3rd there will be vendors, rides, and entertainment, along with a Non-Denominational Worship Service to start around 6 pm. No watermelon will be served on Saturday. On the 4th, in addition to the vendors, rides, and entertainment, there will be all the free, sliced, ice cold, sweet watermelon you can eat. A car show, and a Pretty Baby Contest will round out the fun.
